The International Society of Microbial Ecology (ISME) would like to support early career scientists to attend the MBK/CEESME joint conference and the ISME sessions that will be held there. 

By investing in the training and career development of early career scientists, ISME contributes to the advancement of the field of microbial ecology. 

Therefore, ISME will award 12 travel grants to graduate students (MSc/PhD) and postdoctoral fellows who are current ISME members. 

Each travel grant will cover travel and accommodation expenses up to 800 euros, in total. The applicant must also be the first and presenting author of an abstract submitted to the MBK/CEESME joint conference.
