Dear colleagues and friends,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2nd Panhellenic Congress of Psychogeriatrics, which will be held in Athens at the “STRATOS VASSILIKOS” Hotel from November 13 to 16, 2025.
The event is organized by the Hellenic Psychogeriatric Association (HPA), a member of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA), in collaboration with the section of Old Age Psychiatry of the Hellenic Psychiatric Association.
The congress will focus on the latest research and therapeutic advancements in the field of mental and cognitive health in the elderly. It will feature presentations and specialized workshops on psychotherapeutic interventions in geriatric depression, applications of digital technology in Psychogeriatrics, new findings on promoting healthy brain aging in women, and the growing necessity of education and training in the field of Psychogeriatrics.
Moreover, recent scientific data on the prevention, early and accurate diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease, along with the latest developments in both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, will be presented.
The Organizing Committee has made every effort to design a comprehensive scientific program, with the primary aim of integrating Psychogeriatrics into everyday clinical practice.
Distinguished Greek scientists from various disciplines, as well as invited speakers with expertise in Psychogeriatrics, will participate in the congress and share their knowledge and experience.
We believe this congress will foster the dissemination of scientific knowledge and serve as an opportunity for further awareness and study of the numerous issues concerning the mental and cognitive health of the elderly.
